This guide explains how to join the SortSocial affiliate programme, choose your code, demonstrate the product and understand your commission statement. The programme is being prepared for launch. Do not promote a purchase link until your account is approved and live checkout and payouts are enabled.

SortSocial helps creators and social media marketers collect visible post metrics, compare content, save references and study video structure. The browser extension supports Instagram, TikTok and YouTube Shorts. The Android companion collects from Instagram.

Set up your affiliate account

1. Open the SortSocial partner portal and continue with Google. Use an account you will keep. Your affiliate identity is connected to that account, not to one phone or browser.

2. Choose a memorable code containing 4 to 24 letters, numbers, underscores or hyphens. It must start with a letter. Codes are case insensitive and unique. Reserved names and automatic referral-code prefixes are unavailable.

3. Read the programme terms, tick the acceptance box and select Reserve my code and apply. Your code is reserved while the owner reviews your application. A pending code cannot earn commissions.

4. After approval, copy your affiliate link from the portal. Complete the payout provider verification requested at launch. Never send passwords, full bank credentials or identity documents through a public form or social message.

Understand your earnings

You earn 25% of eligible subscription revenue actually collected from customers attributed to your affiliate code. Renewals continue to earn commission while those customers stay subscribed. There is no fixed earnings cap.

The calculation uses revenue after discounts and excluding taxes, refunds and chargebacks. Example amounts before those adjustments: an INR 200 monthly membership earns INR 50; an INR 1200 annual membership earns INR 300. A USD 2 monthly membership earns USD 0.50; a USD 12 annual membership earns USD 3.

An annual payment creates one commission on that annual charge. It does not create twelve additional monthly commissions. The next paid annual renewal can earn a new commission. Separately purchased device packs are not included in the initial affiliate programme.

Each valid link has a 30-day attribution window. Before the first checkout, the last valid link or explicitly entered code wins. After the first eligible conversion, that customer remains attributed for qualifying renewals. Referral and affiliate benefits do not stack on the same customer.

Know when a commission can be paid

A verified successful payment starts a 30-day hold. Your portal separates pending earnings, available earnings and payout history. INR and USD balances are kept separate; they are not silently converted.

Payouts are processed monthly. A monthly batch includes commissions whose 30-day hold ended before the first day of that payout month. The exact transfer day, minimum balance, supported countries and payout fees will be published before the programme opens.

Refunds, disputes or suspected abuse can hold earnings for review. Refunded amounts reduce commission; amounts already paid may be offset against future earnings. A prepared payout record is not proof that money has been sent. The statement is marked paid only after a completed transfer reference is recorded.

Create a useful demonstration

Use a real screen recording of your own SortSocial workflow. Start with a small creator collection, choose a metric, show the sorted result and save one reference. Explain which creative choice you noticed and how you would adapt the structure into an original idea.

For a short video, use this sequence: the research problem, a brief collection and sort, the standout post, and one practical takeaway. Keep the creator and available metrics visible. Crop private notifications, personal workspaces and API keys before sharing your recording.

Use the supplied SortSocial logo without recolouring its bars. The brand combines a graphite base with cyan, magenta and coral accents. Screen captures should show the real interface and identify sample data when present.

Describe the limits honestly. Hidden metrics are unavailable. Downloads and quality depend on what the source exposes. Outlier and virality indices are research signals, not a guarantee of reach. AI analysis uses the customer’s own provider credentials and is billed separately. Browser and phone collections do not yet sync automatically.

Share transparently

Place a clear disclosure close to the recommendation and the affiliate link. Suggested wording: This is my SortSocial affiliate link. If you subscribe through it, I may earn a commission.

Suggested caption: I used SortSocial to sort a creator’s Reels by available views and save references for my next brief. This helped me compare the ideas before writing my own version. See the workflow, check platform support and review the plan before subscribing. Affiliate link: [your approved link].

No self-referrals, fake accounts, spam, misleading discounts, impersonation or paid bidding on SortSocial brand terms. Do not claim affiliation with Instagram, Meta, TikTok or Google. Do not reuse another creator’s video as your own advertising without permission.

Keep referrals separate

Every member gets an automatic referral code. Under the proposed launch rule, a friend receives 10% off the first subscription payment and the referring member earns 10% of the eligible collected amount as non-cash Social Points after the hold. For example, INR 200 becomes INR 180 before tax, producing INR 18 in credit.

An affiliate code earns 25% commission instead and does not automatically give the customer a discount. Social Points cannot be withdrawn as cash. The first-payment rule and credit redemption details are awaiting final owner confirmation; earning balances are implemented, but spending credit is not live.

Before you publish

Check that your account says active, your code and link are correct, live checkout is enabled, your payout method is verified, and your disclosure is easy to see. Use the current screenshots and pricing, and keep a copy of the programme terms you accepted.

Launch status: Google sign-in credentials, a live account server, the merchant connection, payout operations and the support contact are still to be configured. This guide does not activate a payment account or promise a payout before those services are ready.
